Kalari Yoga is a non-traditional vinyasa practice that engages organic movement that is personally responsive to one’s natural movement patterns and rhythmic senses. It is suitable for people from all levels of yoga practice, and is particularly uplifting for people who seek to break out of set routines to embrace freeform flow.
If you love music and love to move with it, if you love your yoga practice and want to explore new ways to flow that is unlike the structure of a typical yoga class, yet still doing some poses that are familiar enough for you to feel at home on your mat, this is for you! This is a practice that is light-hearted, soulful and nourishing.
I have presented Kalari Yoga to international audiences at yoga festivals and it really does feel that even though we live oceans apart, that we all flow with one heartbeat, united through yoga, music, movement, meditation and heart.
